Let's get to know each other better...

But... who ARE you?
My name is Craig, and I have been teaching mathematics across the United Kingdom for more than 15 years, both in the state and private sector. I have taught from Key Stage 2, all the way through to A-Level Further Mathematics!
I have been a Head of Sixth Form Mathematics, a Head of Mathematics Faculty, as well as being a current A-level examiner for a major English examination board with well over a decade of service and experience. I have also been the Mathematics Secondary Lead for a PGCE Mathematics Course... so, I've been around!
Outside of teaching (when they let me out of the store cupboard) I'm a keen amateur musician, a retired chess player who has competed in the top division of the 4NCL (as well as holding the CCM title in correspondence chess), and a lover of any and all sports.

Do you tutor?
I try not to! Between my work as a full time teacher, my multiple examining roles with a leading UK examination board, and the requirement to try and spend at least some time with my wife and child, I do not have a huge amount of time in my life for it!
However... if and where I can help someone in desperate need, I will always try to do so. I am hoping, over the coming years, to find enough time for a limited number of tuition spots, either through an online platform such as Zoom or face-to-face depending on location. If you, or anyone you know, may be interested in tuition then please contact me here or through my social links!
