Let's get to know each other better...

So... who ARE you?

My name is Craig, and I have been teaching mathematics across the United Kingdom for more than 15 years, both in the state and private sector. I have taught from Key Stage 2, all the way through to A-Level Further Mathematics!

I have been a Head of Sixth Form Mathematics, a Head of Mathematics Faculty, as well as being a current senior examiner at A-level for a major English examination board (with well over a decade of service and experience). I have also been the Mathematics Secondary Lead for a PGCE Mathematics Course... so, I've been around!

Outside of teaching (when they let me out of the store cupboard) I'm a keen amateur musician, a retired chess player who has competed in the top division of the 4NCL (as well as holding the CCM title in correspondence chess), and a lover of any and all sports.

If you find the website/resources useful and would like to show your appreciation, you can always Buy Me A Coffee!

To all my recent students - yes, this is a VERY old picture...

My Thanks to...

...all of my students, past and present, who act (involuntarily) as my guinea pigs for all manner of tasks, questions, resources and crazy ideas to support their learning.

My particular thanks to many of my A-Level students for identifying errors in my resources over the years. These particularly include: Anya, Meera, Vaishnavi, Nia, Samson, Yuxuan and Yvonne for their error-spotting on live MathEVmatics resources. Thank you to all of you for your hard work and diligence!

I also give my huge thanks to Susmita, a former student now completing her BSc. in Engineering, who has started to support me with producing worked solutions for the exercises in my textbooks. Her help is hugely appreciated.
